2. TWISTER

Characteristics:
The compact Twister vacuum mixer can be employed for all conventional casting and modelling materials used in dental technology. All mixing parameters are quickly and easily input. The high performance motor and high quality vacuum pump guarantee homogenous and bubble-free mixing results for dental plasters, investments, and silicons.
The standard unit is designed for wall mounting, while an optionally available stand turns the unit into a benchtop device.

Features:

Technical Details

Vacuum display
  • manometer to display the vacuum value.
  • permanent ACTUAL value to indicate the vacuum.
  • coloured sections provide the technician with an indication of the start of mixing.

Mixing time

  • illuminated LED display.
  • the time counts down during the mixing process (timer function).

Speed

  • infinitely adjustable via an rpm regulator.
  • speed range from 100 to 400 rpm.

Control knob

  • multifunctional control unit.
  • mixing time setting.
  • start/stop function.

Inlet filter

  • dual inlet filter, easily cleaned (ultrasound bath).

Mixing bowl

mixing bowls available in five sizes.

Details:

As a wall or benchtop unit

  • standard delivery intended for wall mounting.
  • additional rubber mats on the rear of the housing prevent damage to the lab wall, while simultaneously providing sound insulation.
  • an optional stand is also available for operating the mixer as a benchtop unit.
  • secure mounting with a few, simple installation steps.

Automatic coupling

  • automatic coupling aid
  • when the bowl is set in place, the motor briefly starts, locking the paddle to the motor shaft.

The dual filter

  • prevents dust and mixing materials from entering the vacuum pump.
  • filter easily removed for replacement and cleaning (ultrasonic bath)

The mixing bowls

  • five different bowl sizes with marking for max. fill level.
  • safety zone in the bowl lid forms a reservoir in case of overfilling.
  • high quality ring seals with long service lives.
  • optimal paddle design to thoroughly mix the smallest quantities (e.g., in the 65-ml bowl).
  • extremely resistant plastic used for the bowl and lid.

Hints & tips:

Optimum vacuum performance demands optimally functioning seals. You should regularly coat the rubber seals with vaseline. This will significantly increase their service life and optimize the unit’s function.

Important information:

Only mix the same type of material in a given bowl. Residue from previous mixing processes can have a negative influence (e.g., silicon fails to harden, etc.). We therefore recommend one bowl for each type of material (plaster, investment, silicon).

3. D-VM 10 vacuum mixer

The basic model of the vacuum mixing units with reliable and maintenance-free injector pump. Very space saving, simple handling, highly efficient operation and perfect technology are the characteristics of the D-VM 10. The display shows the programmed time and remaining time. The manometer display informs about the vacuum values in mbar. The robust, high-torque mixing motor can be switched from clockwise to counterclockwise rotation. The maintenance-free vacuum pump quickly achieves a vacuum of up to 950 mbar. A robust 300 ml acrylic mixing bowl is included. The D-VM 10 is available as desk or wall unit.
Mixing bowl
With narrow gap between mixing blade and bowl wall. Round bowl base for easy cleaning.
Available in 60ml, 150ml, 300ml, 600ml and 1000ml.

4. D-VM 16 vacuum mixer

The D-VM 16 is similar to the D-VM 18, but has no automatic mixing programmes. Once a vacuum of 700mbar is reached, the mixing unit automatically switches on. The vacuum quickly increases to a maximum of 980mbar. The vacuum values can be individually set on the bypass valve. A manometer displays the underpressure. After the period set on the timer, which is displayed in the display, the mixer switches off. The vacuum pump continues to operate until the Stop button is pressed. Just like the D-VM 18, the unit is fitted with a very powerful and robust geared mixing motor as well as the reliable and maintenance-free high-performance twin-piston vacuum pump. A robust 300 ml acrylic mixing bowl is included. The unit is available as desk or wall unit.

5. D-VM 18 vacuum mixer

Embedding masses, plasters and silicones are mixed with the D-VM 18 vacuum mixer under optimal conditions. An extremely powerful low-pressure compressor and a very robust, high-torque mixing motor in combination with 12 individually programmable mixing programs meet your highest quality requirements. The display informs you about the selected mixing program and its progress. The mixing programs are simply entered with the operational buttons. A filter test program displays saturation of the intake filters. The filled mixing bowl is coupled to the mixing motor with a pneumatic lift. The maintenance-free high-performance twin-piston pump quickly achieves a vacuum of up to 980mbar, depending on the set program. The instrument is available as desk or wall unit.
