De-Flasking Unit

1. Sand Blaster – Macro and Micro
Recyclable blaster and fine sandblasting unit in one

Vario basic

This all-round blasting unit is a combined recyclable blaster and fine sandblasting unit. Its compact construction and multipurpose function is ideal for medium-sized and small labs. This economical unit can carry out all the usual blasting tasks required within dental technology.

3-way benefit via rationalisation

  • Saving on investment: 1 unit instead of 2 saves 50%.
  • Saving on space: requires little space due to its compact construction.
  • Saving on material: the abrasive from the fine sandblasting tanks does not disappear. It is re-used by the recyclable blaster.

For coarse sandblasting techniques (e.g. chrome cobalt)
Recyclable blaster

  • Blasting nozzle can be positioned according to requirements via the swing arm.
  • Powerful blasting nozzle made from highly resistant material.
  • Comfortable, cotton-lined protective gloves are included.

The fine sandblasting (optional) (e.g., crowns, bridges, inlays)

  • The basic unit can be easily upgraded with one or two fine sandblasting tanks according to grain size requirements.
  • Blasting tanks are matched individually to the abrasive (25-50 μm or 90-250 μm).
  • Quick blasting tank installation without the need for tools.
  • Internal tank selector switch for each fine sandblasting tank, recyclable blasting mode or selection of an external compressed air unit
  • IT-blasting handles with replaceable nozzles
  • Colour coding system matching blasting handles to tank selector switch and blasting tank for speedy recognition
The ergonomic IT hand pieces are fixed on both sides and are easily reached.

Increased user comfort

  • The dust-resistant control elements, tank selector switch and pressure regulator are contained within the blasting chamber.
  • Monitoring the blasting pressure is effected by an external manometer.
  • A filter control with manual water separator cleans the compressed air flow.
  • Size of pipe union compatible with all Renfert extraction units
  • Highly resistant, coated glass screen.
  • Replaceable and washable hand port cuffs.
  • Powder coated metal casing.
  • Inlet opening and connection for an additional, compressed air driven unit (fine sandblasting unit, Deflasking chisel, air blast nozzle)
  • Control elements located in the interior
  • An additional protective grate to prevent premature glass wear due to erosion is also optionally available

The sand silo

  • A removable large particle separator prevents the blasting material from becoming impure.
  • The large funnel-shaped silo ensures permanent sand flow.
  • Monitoring the tank fill level is possible at all times due to the transparent tank.
  • The large tanks have a capacity for approx. 1000 ml blasting material.
  • 360ooperable foot switch guarantees great comfort.
  • Can be emptied via an opening in the base of the silo.
  • The suction point is fixed in the centre of the sand silo.

The extraction technique

  • 50% less blasting material is used due to the clever extraction system.
  • A separator removes only the unusable fine dust.
